Zoe Evans joined NHS England in September 2019 to support the creation and development of the People Plan. Zoe is Head of Staff Engagement in the People Directorate. The team focusses on the strong correlation which exists between the theoretical understanding of the construct Employee Engagement and positive individual, organisational and patient outcomes. The team leads on the National Staff Survey, People Pulse, National Quarterly Pulse Survey, People Promise and listening guidance with a focus to improve employee experience in the NHS.
Prior to joining NHSE, Zoe held the role of Director of HR, OD and Corporate Services in the Fire Sector for 20 years.
