Yinka is currently Director of Digital Workforce for NHS England, with a 30-year career history that combines Pharmacy, Innovation, Digital Transformation, and Entrepreneurship
Over the course of her career, Yinka has worked within multiple NHS organisations across the UK leading digital transformation and care delivery. As well as Academic Health Science Networks, Accenture, CSC, GlaxoSmithKline, Singapore General Hospital, and more recently, NHSX and NHS England.
Previously she served as Head of Innovation at NHSX focussing on virtual care delivery during the Covid-19 pandemic, and as Programme Director at DigitalHealth.London, she grew London’s position as a global commercial destination for digital health innovation, through programmes that supported payors and digital health suppliers. Prior to that Yinka as an entrepreneur founded and led the commercialisation of a tech start-up Vitalfootprint.
Yinka has been featured in the media including Guardian; National Health Executive; Tech City News, and is a regular speaker at sector events. Yinka previously sat on the Smart London Board, and the London Child Obesity Taskforce. She was previously a Trustee of the Faculty of Clinical Informatics.
