Kate began her career in academia at the University of Bradford where she was Lecturer in International Business Management and Chair of the Part-time MBA Programme. In 2000 she left academia to become a research-led consultant advising organisations in the public sector on the design and development of resourcing, talent and people development solutions – including strategies for optimising the attraction and management of the contingent workforce.

Her role at NHSP is to support sector-wide learning around the flexible workforce to support optimisation of this critical resource.
