Jon is a former hospital Chief Executive who joined the NHS nearly 20 years ago under the “Gateway to Leadership” scheme after a successful first career in the Royal Navy as a Warfare Officer. He has worked in both the acute and community sectors, predominantly in operational roles, across London, East Midlands and East Anglia. With over half of that time operation at a Trust Board level he is a former Chief Operating Officer of an acute and community provider and a former Chief Executive Officer of an acute Foundation Trust. He is passionate about integration built around patient needs and change that is not only outcome-focused but delivers in the longer term. Jon is a strong advocate of creating the right environment to enable change, most importantly getting the cultural aspects of any change right.
