Dawn Pearson
Dawn is an NHS manager with over 20 years’ experience working in both a commissioner and provider setting. Prior to this Dawn has a background in local and national voluntary and community sector and Local authority spanning 14 years.
Currently working as the Associate Director for communication, involvement, equality, and inclusion, Dawn has a focus on working positively and proactively with key stakeholders in 4 places and across 2 Integrated Care Boards (ICB), each with their own diverse population. Dawn leads on the Trust approach to equality and addressing health inequalities and ensuring the approach to giving people a voice in the development and design of NHS services is supported by clear and timely communication and information. With a passion for inclusion and involvement, Dawn leads on the delivery of a thriving volunteer offer, commitment to carers and increasing the diversity of the workforce with a focus on recruiting people with lived experience.
With a passion to drive change and improvement Dawn is creative and innovative and works hard to co-produce and develop solutions in partnership with a key aim of listening to the voice of everyone. Built on a strong background of community development with expertise in creating the right conditions to involve a range of people, Dawn has successfully ensured the delivery of both small- and large-scale NHS transformations. Skilled in formal consultation and developing asset-based approaches to involvement both locally and nationally, Dawn has a proven track record of building relationships.
