Sara is an Expert by Experience for the Royal College of Psychiatrists' Perinatal Mental Health Faculty. She's also worked with NHS England, universities, and NHS trusts, co-investigated several NIHR grant-funded projects, and co-directs a West Midlands-based CIC (The Delicate Mind). Sara works to promote better preventative care for women, Muslims and marginalised groups, embed co-production and trauma-informed approaches in the design and delivery of services, empower underserved communities, and address health inequalities.
