Sam is the Interim Chief Executive for NHS Frimley Integrated Care Board. Prior to taking up the role as Interim Chief Executive at Frimley ICB he had been the Chief Transformation, Delivery and Digital Officer. He held the position of Deputy Chief executive at Berkshire West CCG and oversaw the development of new models of care for the Berkshire West system as well as the design and implementation of the Wave One Berkshire West Integrated Care System.

After training to be a lawyer, Sam became an alumnus of the NHS graduate management training scheme. He has worked in hospital management and commissioning roles for NHS organisations in London and the south of England as well providing consultancy support to a number of global healthcare systems with a focus on improvement and reform.
